Description
Due to its shape, the UYL profile is particularly suitable for horizontal installation. The special feature of the cladding board is the slanted profile that creates effective shadows between the panels. UYL is a semi-enclosed cladding and its thickness from one side is slightly thinner than other exterior cladding boards.
Pine wood is highly valued due to its good mechanical features – pine is light, soft and easy to process. During thermal modification, pine wood achieves other valuable properties for outdoor use, such as weather and rot resistance, better moisture and dimensional stability. It also removes resin from wood, gives the material a beautiful brown tone and emphasizes the wood texture.
In the thermal modification process chemicals or other additives are not used, only high temperatures. Thermal treatment is a natural and environmentally unharmful and friendly way of enhancing wood.
