Description
Natural alder is an excellent material for saunas, as it does not contain resin. Alder wood is very unique, like a chameleon – freshly sawn alder is bright white, but soon becomes yellow, then orange, then dark orange, and finally more pink and purplish hues come along. Often the color of alder wood intensifies as the wood ages.
In addition, the alder has a beautiful texture, a pleasantly sweet smell and is very durable. Keep in mind – in order for the light sauna material to remain beautiful longer, it should be treated with a sauna protective agent.
